While you will have the privilege to access and edit the site, we’ve observed that many clients prefer not to spend their valuable time familiarizing themselves with the update process. For websites that only need infrequent modifications, we offer an as-needed update service. Any such updates will be invoiced based on the duration and complexity of the tasks involved.

For the optimal performance and reach of your website, we recommend regular content updates. A dynamic website encourages frequent visits from users who are eager to explore new content.

It’s worth noting that modern websites, especially those created using platforms like WordPress, undergo periodic software updates. These updates encompass not only the core software but also the themes and plugins which contribute to the website’s functionality and aesthetic. While we usually configure sites for automatic updates, complications can arise. Sometimes, these automatic updates might malfunction or result in compatibility issues. Moreover, merely updating the software doesn’t integrate its new features into your website; these integrations require manual implementation.

To simplify this process, we offer two solutions:

1. Updates on an as-needed basis.
2. A monthly retainer service known as ‘Website Management.’ Under this arrangement, you specify a predetermined number of hours for us to work on your site each month. During this period, we will not only incorporate the content updates you provide but also conduct any mandatory website updates.

Depending on your desired updates, we can usually perform several updates within an hour time.  Updates are alloted 30 minunte minimum, as there is overhead in just getting into your site, finding where to make your desired changes and then performing the update.  We suggest you accumulate several updates to be made and then send us the list of changes so we can knock them out in one go.
